You should post your problem statement, and a brief discussion of your topic and why it interests you.

Then, you are required to reply to at least TWO other classmates problem statements with feedback (each student should have at least two replies to their own problem statement).

Here are the guidelines for selecting a research topic for this class:

1. Make sure the topic is HEALTH RELATED.

2. Your research problem should not be something that can be answered with a simple YES/NO.

3. Your research problem for this class should be a POPULATION LEVEL study- this means that the study should use human subjects and not be performed in a lab. You will learn/have learned about laboratory research in your science courses. Refer to the first Prezzi slideshow in Module 2 if you have questions.

2. Your topic should be something that you could feasibly research. Although we will NOT COLLECT ANY DATA IN THIS CLASS, you should propose something that is do-able.

3. Your topic CAN be something that you have written about in other classes. However, you are NOT to submit any assignments that have been submitted in other classes. Turnitin.com will catch this and you will be penalized for plagiarism.
